Purpose of the job

An exciting opportunity has arisen within Corporate Services for an Income Posting Officer to join our team on a part-time basis.

The successful candidate will provide administrative and financial support, ensuring that all income received is processed accurately and efficiently.

This role plays an important part in maintaining effective financial records and supporting the delivery of a high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receipt and process all payments received.
  • Enter payments accurately onto the cash receipting system.
  • Record payments received via direct banking, telephone payments, and online transactions.
  • Balance daily payments against records of daily income.
  • Investigate unidentified payments.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
  • Provide general administrative support as required.

About You

We are looking for an organised and reliable individual with

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good numeracy and administrative skills.
  • Experience of working with financial information or cash handling processes.
  • Strong IT skills, including experience using computerised systems.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work a variable pattern between Monday and Friday.
  • This is a shared role, and the successful candidate will be required to provide cover during periods of annual leave.
