About You

  • Experience in a specialist role with significant EDI content.
  • The ability to shape people policy frameworks that positively impact the employee and service user experience.
  • Experience of working with managers and teams on EDI issues and developing solutions.
  • Experience in designing and delivering EDI training and briefings.
  • Experience of working in a customer focused service with a track record of consistent delivery and achievement of service plans.
  • Able to work on your own initiative.

About The Role

Reporting to the Head of HR and OD, you will lead the development and implementation of the Councils EDI strategy, ensuring it aligns seamlessly with our Workforce Strategy and the Public Sector Equality Duty. Working closely with our services and the HR&OD team, you will support the delivery of a high-quality EDI service, that drives organisational improvement.
