From Melt Group we are looking for a Senior Process Engineer on behalf of a leading company in chemical cleaning, industrial blowing and other pre-commissioning and maintenance work worldwide for their offices in Maidstone, Kent.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and coordinate chemical cleaning projects, including preparation of technical documentation, method statements and risk assessments.
  • Gather technical requirements from clients and calculate chemical and equipment needs for project execution.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, warehouse and workshop teams to ensure timely availability and delivery of equipment and materials.
  • Provide technical support to site personnel and act as the main interface between site teams, suppliers and subcontractors during project execution.
  • Support day-to-day site and workshop operations, ensuring high standards of professionalism, safety and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor project activities to ensure compliance with budgets, quality standards, HSE policies and ISO procedures.
  • Assist in the preparation and review of technical reports, documentation and quality procedures.
  • Train and supervise technical personnel, reviewing activities and providing feedback when required.
  • Support maintenance and operational readiness of company equipment, following up on servicing and defect reporting activities.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement and development of new industrial cleaning techniques and operational procedures.
  • Support business development and client relationship activities, representing the company when required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
  • Proven work experience as a process engineer.
  • Experience with process simulations and standard operating procedures.
  • High-level knowledge of process engineering software systems.
  • Experience working with CAD and AutoCAD.
  • Advanced technical skills.
  • Analytical thinker.
  • Familiarity with state health and safety regulations.
  • Ability to project manage.
