Melt Group is looking for a Chemical Cleaning Manager for an international company in the chemical sector in the South East UK.
Responsibilities:
- Design and coordinate chemical cleaning projects, including preparation of technical documentation, method statements and risk assessments.
- Gather technical requirements from clients and calculate chemical and equipment needs for project execution.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, warehouse and workshop teams to ensure timely availability and delivery of equipment and materials.
- Provide technical support to site personnel and act as the main interface between site teams, suppliers and subcontractors during project execution.
- Support day-to-day site and workshop operations, ensuring high standards of professionalism, safety and operational efficiency.
- Monitor project activities to ensure compliance with budgets, quality standards, HSE policies and ISO procedures.
- Assist in the preparation and review of technical reports, documentation and quality procedures.
- Train and supervise technical personnel, reviewing activities and providing feedback when required.
- Support maintenance and operational readiness of company equipment, following up on servicing and defect reporting activities.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement and development of new industrial cleaning techniques and operational procedures.
- Support business development and client relationship activities, representing the company when required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
- Proven work experience as a process engineer.
- Experience with process simulations and standard operating procedures.
- High-level knowledge of process engineering software systems.
- Advanced technical skills.
- Analytical thinker.
- Familiarity with state health and safety regulations.
- Ability to project manage.
