We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chocolatier to join our luxury chocolate company. As a Chocolatier, you will be responsible for creating high-quality, handcrafted chocolates, truffles, and other confections. You will be expected to use your creativity, attention to detail, and passion for chocolate to create unique and delicious treats that delight our customers.
Job Description
-producing chocolates, bars, and our other products to a high standard in a busy kitchen
-working in kitchens across both locations
-leading a variety of chocolate classes when required
-flexible approach is required to help where needed as we are a small team, and we’re looking for someone with a friendly, supportive attitude
-working on special orders and corporate projects
-packing finished goods for delivery, ordering ingredients, assisting in cleaning and maintaining the kitchen
-some weekend work required
Key Skills
-Prepare and mold chocolate using traditional techniques
-Decorate chocolates and confections using various techniques
-Maintain a clean and organized work area
-Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
-previous kitchen experience
-excellent attention to detail
-interest in teaching classes
-ability to work independently, plan a production list, and work with chocolate machines
-good standard of English
-be keen to absorb product knowledge of Melt\’s range
-must have the right to live and work in the UK
-ability to lift heavy boxes and work as a team with incoming deliveries
