Insurance Sales Representative

Working for one of our clients in the Chatham-Kent region.

Melo LLP is currently searching for motivated and experienced Insurance Agents to join their team in the Chatham-Kent area. As an Insurance Agent, you will be responsible for selling insurance policies to clients, providing excellent customer service, and meeting sales targets. Responsibilities:

• Sell various types of insurance policies to individuals and businesses
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their insurance needs
• Educate clients on different insurance options and coverage plans
• Provide personalized recommendations based on clients\’ specific requirements
• Process policy applications, renewals, and claims accurately and efficiently
• Collaborate with underwriters to negotiate terms and conditions
• Stay updated on industry trends and changes in insurance regulations
• Utilize telemarketing strategies to reach out to potential customers
• Assist clients with policy changes, billing inquiries, and other customer service needs

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of proven experience in insurance sales
• Valid OTL or RIBO Licence is mandatory
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong market knowledge and ability to identify potential customers
• Ability to negotiate effectively and close sales deals
• Experience with using the Sandler Sales system is an asset
• Experience selling Life and Living benefits is an asset
• Prior work experience working with Desjardins Insurance is an asset
