The Role: We are looking for a caring and reliable Community Care Assistant to support clients in their own homes in Barnsley. This is a hands-on role providing practical support and companionship, helping clients maintain their independence and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living tasks as required (e.g., meal preparation, light domestic support, companionship).
- Provide support with personal care if needed, following care plans and guidance.
- Travel between clients’ homes safely, with travel time paid.
- Build positive, trusting relationships with clients and families.
- Report any changes in clients’ needs to the supervisor promptly.
