Mellors Care are recruiting for a Registered Nurse to support a successful Nursing home in central Sheffield. The role will involve working 3 day shifts per week to support in providing excellent Nursing care. The service is a 'Good' rated, successful Nursing home, providing care in mild and moderate Dementia, physical disability, end-of-life care and mental health.
The role will involve working alongside another Nurse on shift to provide nursing care, wound care, medication and care plan updating. Other responsibilities will include:
- Observations
- Monitoring hydration and weight levels
- Auditing care plans
- PEG feed care
- Catheterisations and catheter care
- Leading the care team and ensuring the shift runs smoothly
- Working closely with the Registered Manager and Clinical Lead to ensure compliance with CQC regulations
- Communicating with relatives and family members and building trusting relationships
The successful candidate will have a Nursing qualification and an NMC Nursing PIN. Experience providing elderly Nursing care is essential, in a Care Home or similar setting.
