Mello World is a growing premium pet-care and retail brand in London, bringing together luxury grooming, daycare and carefully curated retail.
Following the opening of our second London location, we are looking for an experienced Multi-Site Operations Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day running of our locations and work closely with the Founder.
This is a hands-on role for someone who is highly organised, commercially minded and confident managing people, solving problems and maintaining exceptional standards.
The Role
You will be responsible for:
* Overseeing the day-to-day operation of both locations
* Managing and supporting store teams and managers
* Staff rotas, attendance and performance
* Supporting recruitment, onboarding and training
* Maintaining exceptional customer-service standards
* Handling operational and customer escalations
* Ensuring grooming, daycare and retail operations run smoothly
* Monitoring stock, suppliers and operational systems
* Coordinating maintenance and contractors
* Implementing and maintaining SOPs and processes
* Monitoring labour costs and key operational KPIs
* Ensuring health & safety, licensing and operational compliance
* Running regular team and management meetings
* Providing clear reporting to the Founder
* Supporting future store openings and expansion
About You
We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in premium retail, hospitality, beauty, wellness, fitness or other customer-focused service businesses.
You should have:
* Previous multi-site management experience
* Strong people-management skills
* Experience managing busy frontline teams
* Excellent organisation and attention to detail
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability
* Commercial awareness
* Confidence working independently and taking ownership
* High standards for customer experience and presentation
* Experience implementing processes and holding teams accountable
Pet-industry experience is not required.
