We are currently recruiting for a dedicated Semi Senior to join our client's reputable accountancy firm based in Watford, Hertfordshire. You will work closely with clients to ensure their financial records are accurate and complete, providing guidance and support to help them meet their financial goals. As part of this dynamic team, you will gain valuable experience in a supportive, friendly environment that values your input and professional growth.

The role demands a proactive approach, with the ability to work independently and coordinate effectively within a team framework, all while maintaining high standards of accuracy and organisation.

  • Prepare statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
  • Prepare Corporation Tax computations and returns
  • Assist with personal and business tax matters
  • Prepare VAT returns and management accounts
  • Carry out bookkeeping and account reconciliations using cloud-based accounting software
  • Liaise directly with clients and respond to day-to-day queries
  • Support senior team members with client assignments and deadlines
  • Ensure work is completed accurately and in line with professional standards
  • Ensure accuracy and statutory compliance of financial documentation
