Accounts & Audit Senior for our client based in Bedfordshire, specialising in planning audits.
This pivotal role involves managing all aspects of financial reporting, tax compliance, and conducting audits with a focus on meticulous planning and execution.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality work to senior management, mentoring junior team members, and maintaining strong client relationships.
The position offers exposure to a broad client base and clear pathways for career progression within a supportive environment.
The role requires leadership in audit planning, execution, and review, ensuring compliance with UK standards, and providing technical support.
You will plan, supervise, and complete robust audits and accounts, resolving complex issues and ensuring timely completion within budget.
Additionally, you will assist in tax computations and client communications, contributing to the firms overall service delivery and compliance standards.
ACA or ACCA qualification or working towards it Solid technical knowledge of UK GAAP and UK auditing standards Experience managing audit fieldwork and supervising team members Strong communication and interpersonal skills Experience in planning and delivering audits with a focus on planning and review processes Experience working with owner-managed businesses and SMEs (desirable) Familiarity with accounting and audit software such as MWP, Case Ware, CCH, IRIS (desirable) In return, our client offers a competitive salary and benefits package, flexible working options, and ongoing technical training.
