Our client seek a Legal Bookkeeper/Legal Cashier, you will have experience of multiple bank reconciliations, and Xero software
This is a part-time (Monday to Friday 10:00 to 14:00) 20 hours a week – office based.
Objective of the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced bookkeeper to support our team.
Key Responsibilities:
Day to day processing and reconciliation of client and Office accounts in line with Solicitors Accounts Rules regulations
Administration of online banking system
General bookkeeping, including bank reconciliations
Managing client bank accounts and processing payments on their behalf
Preparing and submitting VAT returns
Conducting bookkeeping tasks ensuring accuracy and compliance
Supporting the year-end accounts process
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
Lising with clients and responding to queries
Requirements:
Experience of working in a law firm
Experience of Xero
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and part of a small team
Familiarity of LEAP software desirable
