Our client, a reputable firm of accountants based in Milton Keynes, is seeking a Permanent Assistant Accountant/Bookkeeper to join their team. You will be AAT qualified. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the bookkeeping and accounting functions using a cloud-based platform.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing transactions posted by junior team members
- Reconciling balance sheet accounts
- Assisting in the preparation of VAT returns
- Serving as a point of contact for clients, handling a variety of queries via email and telephone
