We are looking for a responsible Driver to join our growing team.

The role of the driver is to deliver goods to our customers in a professional manner.

A successful candidate must have a full UK driver's license, excellent driving skills and a good knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.

In this position, the Driver will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the van, reporting any issues to the Transport and Logistics Team Leader.

Responsibilities

  • To always follow driving Laws and Regulations.
  • Full compliance with all Health & Safety legislation and company policies.
  • To Cooperate with all training that is provided.
  • To maintain a positive and cooperative working environment for all colleagues.
  • To complete the defect sheet prior to departure daily and report any issues to the Transport and Logistics Team Leader.
  • Maintaining any relevant logs by regulation or management request.
  • To ensure daily delivery routes are completed (where possible by following the planned routes), report any issues to the Transport and Logistics Team Leader.
  • To follow process for proof of delivery (POD).
  • Checking that the correct goods are delivered to the correct address in the correct quantities.
  • Role will include the loading/unloading of goods to/from the vehicles.
  • Role may include the need to transfer goods to additional sites (off site storage) as required.
  • To maintain a customer-centric approach understanding that you are the face of the Company.
  • To be presentable in appearance and maintain a positive attitude with the customer focus in mind.
  • To ensure that the vehicles are cleaned internally according to schedule and process.
  • To ensure that refueling of vehicles is maintained according to schedule and process.
