Working hours: 7.5hours per week, working 38 weeks per year (term time, excluding TD days)
Working pattern: Monday to Friday, 12.00noon to 1.30pm

Job summary:
Weare looking for a caring, enthusiastic and reliable Midday SupervisoryAssistant (MDSA) to join our friendly school team. The successful candidatewill help supervise pupils during lunchtime, ensuring they are safe, happy andwell cared for. You will encourage positive behaviour, support pupils duringplay and lunch, and help create a welcoming and inclusive environment. We arelooking for someone who is patient, approachable and enjoys working withchildren as part of a team. Previous experience of working with children isdesirable but not essential, as training and support will be provided.

Our School
Queen's Crescent Schoolis a two-form entry primary school, based in Chippenham with over 400 pupils onroll across 14 classes. In 2014 the school became a single academy trustand subsequently joined Pickwick Academy Trust in 2017 as one of the fourfounding schools. Queen's Crescent is a vibrant school and our energetic,caring and positive staff are committed to providing the best primary educationfor all of our children. Children learn best when they feel happy andsafe, so we aim to provide a nurturing environment that allows them to succeedbut also feel safe to make mistakes along the way. In such an atmosphere,we believe that every child can achieve their full potential, irrespective ofability or background.
Our curriculum is broadand balanced and delivered by means of stimulating learning enquiries thatbuild on prior knowledge and skills, preparing each individual for the nextphase of their education and life beyond school. We are currentlyinvesting significantly in our IT infrastructure to support the delivery of thecurriculum enabling our teachers to teach in new and dynamic ways which in turnresults in fantastic outcomes for our children.
