We are now recruiting for a Warehouse Controller to lead the Warehouse function for our Cambridge site! This will include receipt, storage and shipping, ensuring the highest standards of quality and customer service!

Responsibilities

• Act as lead for the UK warehouse and work as part of the stores team.
• Track stock levels, perform cycle counts, reconcile discrepancies, manage storage, and handle obsolete items.
• Coordinate incoming deliveries (verify against orders) and outgoing shipments (pick, pack, label).
• Maintain accurate records, prepare reports (stock, productivity), and handle shipping documents like B/Ls and packing lists.
• Liaise with suppliers, carriers, customer service, and internal teams (purchasing, sales).
• Utilise Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and other software for tracking and reporting.
• Import/export master data responsibility; ensure new parts are classified correctly and cleanse current SAP classifications.
• Customs compliance; work in partnership with teams in Poland to manage historic customs claims and recommend process improvements for ongoing compliance.

Daily Stores Duties

• Incoming receipt and inspection.
• Storage of parts in a safe manner.
• Kitting of works orders.
• Issuing of shortages to work orders.
• Issuing stores requests.
• Dispatching items from MRP from sales order.
• Creating manual Excel shipment paperwork when required.
• Relevant emails on shipments.
• Receiving RMA and demo machines.
• Stores kept tidy, and organised.
• MRP system updated with correct BIN locations.
• Ensure the stock accuracy within SAP is as high as possible.
• Organise courier collections when required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a stores/warehouse role, ideally leading the function.
• Strong organisational & multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication & problem‑solving skills.
• Proficiency with inventory software.
• Leadership & training capabilities.
• Knowledge of logistics & safety protocols.
• Positive and proactive attitude, ability to problem solve.
• Excel confident.
