Join the Meliora Team – Salaried Pitch-side Physiotherapist/Sports Therapist/Sports Rehabilitator
At Meliora Medical, we are looking for an experienced physiotherapist, sports therapist, sports rehabilitator, or advanced nurse practitioner to provide pitch-side care for a west London independent school. The successful applicant will work closely with school stakeholders, parents and Meliora’s wider clinical team to deliver best in class care for its pupils.
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 14:00 – 16:30. Term time only.
Location: Wood Lane, W12 0HJ
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate clinical records and incident reports
- To provide best in class pitch-side medical cover for school fixtures
- Assessment, management, and treatment of acute injuries and medical emergencies
- To liaise with coaching staff and parents regarding Meliora’s onward care pathways
- To represent Meliora and uphold our expected standards
Our ideal candidate will have:
- UK degree qualified physiotherapist, sports therapist, sports rehabilitator or advanced practitioner nurse.
- Current professional registration with a relevant governing body (e.g. CSP, SST, BASRaT, HCPC, NMC.)
- Proven experience providing pitch-side care to adolescents in an elite sport and/or school environment.
- Pre-hospital care qualification at a minimum level of ITMMiF, PHICIS, or equivalent.
- Proficiency in strapping and taping.
- Enhanced DBS with a children’s barred list check.
