Role Description This is a part-time, on-site Agency Nurse/Paramedic role based in Weybridge. The post holder will provide high-quality clinical care to children and adolescents in school and sports club environments, including assessment, triage, treatment, and escalation where required. Day-to-day responsibilities include responding to acute injuries and illnesses, delivering evidence-based first aid and emergency care, and supporting concussion and injury management pathways in line with Meliora Medical protocols. The role involves clear documentation, effective communication with families, school and club staff, and the wider multidisciplinary team, as well as safeguarding and risk assessment in all interactions. The clinician will also contribute to health promotion, attend training and clinical updates, and uphold best practice standards for youth-focused care and patient experience. Qualifications Current registration as a Registered Nurse or Paramedic with the appropriate UK regulatory body (e.g., NMC/HCPC), with post-registration clinical experience in acute, emergency, or community settings. Strong assessment and clinical decision-making skills, including triage, basic and advanced life support, and safe escalation and referral pathways for children and adolescents. Experience working with young people in sports, school, emergency, or primary care environments, with a clear understanding of safeguarding, consent, and family-centered care. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to explain clinical information clearly to young people, parents/guardians, and non-clinical staff. Competence in accurate, timely clinical documentation and use of digital tools or electronic medical record systems.
