Role Summary
As a Trainee Dental Nurse, you will support clinicians in delivering high-quality patient care while working towards a recognised Dental Nursing qualification. Under supervision, you will contribute to safe, compliant clinical practice and an excellent patient experience. This role is a key development position within the practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Support clinicians with chairside assistance during dental procedures
- Prepare, maintain and decontaminate treatment rooms and equipment under supervision, in line with HTM 01-05 and infection prevention and control standards
- Support patient comfort, reassurance and clear communication
- Assist with clinical notes, administrative tasks and record keeping
- Contribute to compliance with practice policies, procedures and standards
- Provide support with non-clinical and administrative front-of-house activities when required
About You
- Motivated to learn and develop within dental nursing
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Organised with basic IT competence
- Enrolled on, or willing to enrol on, a recognised Dental Nursing qualification (NEBDN or equivalent)
