We are seeking a GDC-registered, experienced Dental Nurse to join our growing team. You will play a key role in supporting clinicians, ensuring safe and compliant clinical practice, and delivering an exceptional patient journey. This role is central to the smooth running and success of the practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality chairside support across a range of dental procedures.
- Prepare, maintain and decontaminate treatment rooms and equipment in line with HTM 01-05 and infection prevention and control standards.
- Ensure patient comfort, reassurance and clear communication throughout their visit.
- Maintain accurate clinical notes and patient records.
- Support compliance with CQC, cross-infection, safeguarding and practice policies.
- Assist with stock control, equipment checks and clinical administration.
- Act as a professional liaison between dentist and patient.
- Support non-clinical and administrative front-of-house activities when required.
About You
- GDC registered Dental Nurse.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a dental practice (private experience desirable).
- Strong knowledge of infection control, compliance and clinical protocols.
- Patient-focused, organised, strong team player with excellent communication skills.
- Competent with dental software and basic IT systems.
