My client is a globally recognised, award-winning manufacturer, developer and fit-out contractor delivering bespoke attractions and immersive environments for Theme Parks, Cruise Ships, Hotels, and Leisure venues worldwide. With multiple live projects currently underway throughout the UK and also 3 live projects in Las Vegas, they continue to expand their international portfolio, delivering high-quality, creative solutions that are experienced by millions of people every year. Each project is completely unique, ranging in value from £100k to £5m, combining specialist manufacturing, fit-out, and themed construction expertise. Due to continued growth, my client is looking to appoint an experienced Estimator / Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of bespoke construction and fit-out projects from tender stage through to final account. This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys working on unique, technically challenging projects within a fast-paced and creative environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparing accurate cost estimates and tender submissions
  • Reviewing drawings, specifications, and project documentation
  • Producing detailed take-offs and cost plans
  • Managing project costs throughout delivery lifecycle
  • Procuring subcontractors and suppliers
  • Negotiating quotations and contracts
  • Monitoring variations, valuations, and final accounts
  • Supporting project managers with commercial reporting and forecasting
  • Liaising with clients, designers, suppliers, and internal teams
  • Assisting in identifying cost-saving opportunities and value engineering solutions
Candidate Requirements
  • Previous experience as an Estimator, Quantity Surveyor, or Commercial Surveyor
  • Background within construction, fit-out, manufacturing, interiors, themed environments, or specialist contracting
  • Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and estimating software
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Desirable Experience
  • Experience working on bespoke or high-end fit-out projects
  • Exposure to hospitality, leisure, retail, themed attractions, or cruise ship projects
  • Knowledge of NEC or JCT contracts
