Brilliant opportunity for a Civils Site Manager working with a hugely successful contractor on a heavy civil engineering project on the M23 corridor. The Site Manager should have experience in Heavy civils, deep drainage and RC Works.
Site Manager Responsibilities:
- Produce method statements and risk assessments
- Devise Lift Plans if Appointed Person qualified
- Ensure all HSE legislation and site rules are followed
- Present site inductions and other periodic toolbox talks and training
- Complete Plant & material requisitions
- Assess labour and skills required
- Ensure that timesheets are fully completed and accurate for the hours worked on site
- Review and update materials requirement list
- Review specification and drawings
- Complete material requisition form and materials Returns Form
- Liaise with subcontractors
- Manage contractual paperwork including variations (PMI, CTQs, Early Warnings and CEβs)
- Complete Temporary Works Design Brief and send to the Design Department
- Produce Inspection and Test Plan
- Arrange client inspection & completion of handover form
- Issue four weekly programme to Foreman and Engineer
- Ensure daily/weekly briefing and review meetings are carried out
- Maintain/manage site records
- Develop and review regularly method statements and risk assessments
- Produce Monthly report
- Meet with utility companies to agree diversions
- Manage the site team

- CSCS card Manager
- Site Safety Plus - SMSTS certificate
- Temporary Works Coordinator
- First Aid at Work
- Fire Warden
- CPCS Appointed Person (desirable)
