Excellent career opportunity for a motivated and ambitious Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a superbly run civil engineering contractor working on a major civil engineering project in Kent. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop commercial and contractual expertise whilst working on a large-scale infrastructure scheme.

The role: The Senior Quantity Surveyor will take a leading role in commercial management, whilst being responsible for contract administration, change management, subcontract management, commercial reporting and will help drive commercial performance, manage risk and maximise project value.

Responsibilities of the Senior Quantity Surveyor:

  • Lead the commercial management of allocated work packages
  • Maintain accurate records of project costs, value, commitments and liabilities.
  • Prepare and review monthly Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs), forecasts and commercial reports.
  • Monitor project performance
  • Identify commercial risks, opportunities and improvement initiatives.
