Great opportunity for a ​Project Manager working for a first class civil engineering contractor.\\n\\nThe position will be based near Portsmouth\\n\\nAs a Project Manager your role responsibilities will include :\\n\\n * Produce project management documents including Construction Phase Plan, Waste Management Plan & risk assessments\\n\\n * Update contract programme weekly with project planner\\n\\n * ​Plan upcoming work, procure subcontractors, and place orders for long lead in materials\\n\\n * Chair weekly site meetings\\n\\n * ​Monitor and report on financial performance\\n\\n * Assist the commercial team\\n\\n * ​Use information provided by your site engineer to communicate technical queries and resolve design issues\\n\\n * Local recruitment of necessary labour resources\\n\\n * Managing your team & delegating suitable responsibilities\\n\\n * Promote effective inter-team working across all functional departments\\n\\n * Monitor the morale & motivation of the team.\\n\\n * Maintain regular 1-2-1’s\\n\\n * Monitor performance standards & manage expectations.\\n\\n * Provide information for Monthly report\\n\\n * Build trusted relationships with clients\\n\\nIdeal Experience required for the Project Manager\\n\\n * Experience in civil engineering and construction\\n\\n * Managing project/site program and progress.\\n\\n * Engineering/Construction or other relevant degree or HNC/D.\\n\\n * Project management qualification e.g., AMPM Project Management Certification.\\n\\n * Proven experience of delivery programme governance through gateway processes.\\n\\n * Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to navigate complex challenges effectively.\\n\\n * Previous Project Management experience (ideally with Civil Engineering/Mechanical/ Electrical/Instrumentation, Control and Automation bias), and able to demonstrate an in depth understanding of project management processes.\\n\\n * Knowledge of asset management principles within the engineering sectors and understanding technical specifications and assurance.\\n\\nThis is a great opportunity for a Project Manager seeking to wok on a major civil engineering project for a very good civil engineering contractor\\n\\nOn offer is a very competitive salary package coupled with a great career opportunity\\n\\nApply now
