I am currently representing a main contractor who are currently recruiting for a Project Manager. They are looking for someone with the drive, ambition and determination who will be looking to progress to Contracts Manager, and even further, in the future. THE COMPANY: My client are a forward thinking contractor with a turnover in excess of £160m. They pride themselves on being able to deliver the more interesting and challenging projects valued to £20million. Their extensive portfolio of completed schemes spans a wide range of sectors including cutting edge carbon free buildings, Defence, Education, Commercial, Leisure and these have been secured using a diverse range of procurement methods including substantial repeat business methods due to their non-confrontational approach. They are also included on many Framework agreements. With a very low turnover of staff a rare opportunity has a risen for a Project Manager to join the company. THE ROLE: Project Manager – being the no:1 project lead, reporting to the Contracts Manager. Along with all normal day to day Project Manager duties you will also need to be client facing for this position, they have completed a number of projects for these Clients and will want a non-contractual approach. The Project: £8million refurbishment project in Winchester would ideally suit someone with inner city logistics experience
