Great career opportunity for a Senior Site Manager working for an 1st class civil engineering contractor in the water sector The position will be based near Petersfield The Site Manager will help deliver a range of water supply and wastewater treatment projects within the South My client is looking for someone with experience in the water sector Responsibilities of the Senior Site Manager * Manage, supervise and mentor the site team * Develop scheme Health, Safety and Environmental Management Plan (HASEMP) * Ensure all works are undertaken with due regard to the needs of the local population * Adopt, maintain and promote cost conscious management * Ensure method statements and risk assessments are prepared, reviewed, briefed and updated * Ensure realistic scheme programmes are prepared, reviewed and updated * Deliver site inductions and regular tool box talk briefings to all site personnel * Ensure all plant and equipment used is fit for purpose, only operated by suitably trained personnel and regularly inspected Ideal Knowledge, Skills, and Experience * Site management experience in a Water, Wastewater or similar environment * Recognised Civil Engineering/Site Management Qualifications * Degree in Civil Engineering/Construction Management * Understanding of Engineering Principles * Engineering/Site Management Qualifications * CSCS Site Managers Card (minimum) * Minimum of SMSTS * First aid at work * Health, Safety and Environmental Management (IOSH or Construction Managers Safety Certificate) * Valid Driving License On offer is a very competitive salary package coupled with an excellent long term career opportunity Apply now
