Junior CAD/ Estimator

THE COMPANY: My client are a Serviced Office provider who have 11no sites along the South Coast. They offer bespoke office space solutions to accommodate from just a few people to 100’s and have many well known blue chip companies as their clients. They are now implementing their long term growth plan which includes the procurement of existing office blocks – normally 3-4no storey, complete strip to shell and then all internal refurbishments to create office space and communal spaces. Projects are generally valued between £7 – £10million in total and worked in phases of £3-4million. These will be self delivered. THE ROLE: Junior CAD/ Estimator Purpose: To provide accurate CAD designs and produce quotations for office and property refurbishment that comply with client specification, company standards, guidelines and all legal regulations. Key Responsibilities: Supporting the CAD team by keeping systems up to date Assist in the preparation of CAD designs for client, including compiling of scope, risks and considerations Preparation of costings, including cost of materials, transport, labour and equipment hire Reading blueprints and taking measurements Consider Health and Safety implications Making visits to sites when required Interaction with site teams, clients and management Placing purchase orders Skills Required: The ability to fit in well, work as a team member, have i…
