I have a fantastic opportunity for a Project Director working on a major project in the Hampshire area with a hugely successful civil engineering contractor in the water sector.
The Project Director will be responsible for all aspects of project delivery.
Requirements of the Project Director:- Experience of managing a major project or large framework values in the water civil engineering sector
- Proven leadership experience in the water / civil engineering sector
- Ideally Degree qualified
- In-depth understanding of the entire project lifecycle and requirements of all parties involved at each stage
- Technical knowledge combined with the ability to collaborate, coordinate and manage external partners
- In-depth knowledge of NEC contracts
- Responsible for all aspects of project delivery
- Promote exceptional safety and delivery quality standards
- Maintain good relationships with joint venture partners and suppliers
- Ensure that appropriately detailed construction plans and method statements are prepared, in place and approved prior to commencement of activities
- Ensure all commercial aspects of the project are managed
