I am currently recruiting on behalf of a Main Contractor who have a company turnover of £300 million, with £50 million coming from the Southern Region. Projects are valued between £2 million and £15 million.

With recent promotions within the Pre-construction department, they have identified a need for an Assistant Design Manager/ Design Manager to join the team. The position will be office based, reporting to the Head of Design. They have a number of high profile projects at pre-construction phase so are able to give the right project to the right candidate, depending on which will suit their background and career aspirations best.

As the current team mainly consists of Design Managers from a Construction background, they are ideally looking for someone with an Architectural background, either already working as a Design Manager, or someone who is currently an Architectural Technician and now looking to work with one of the UK’s leading contractors.

They will offer one of the UK’s best training programmes, a mentor and structure which will give people the opportunity to move into a more Senior role in the future.
