As Sales Manager MICE UK South, you will drive and achieve revenue objectives for the Groups and Catering segment from the Corporate, Government and Pharmaceutical sectors. Through proactive new business development and strategic account management, you will maximise profitability, strengthen client relationships and enhance market share for Meliá White House, ME London and Meliá London Kensington.

Your Responsibilities

  • Proactively hunt for new high-potential corporate, government and pharmaceutical accounts to drive group and catering revenue.
  • Achieve a minimum number of weekly sales appointments through office visits, site inspections, FAM trips and virtual meetings.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within managed accounts.
  • Negotiate rates in line with hotel objectives, Business Plan targets and a focus on high-ADR production.
  • Analyse corporate sales performance on a weekly basis, reviewing account production and implementing corrective actions where required.
  • Review market analysis, RGI performance and competitor activity with the Director of Sales to improve hotel results.
  • Participate in sales blitzes, roadshows, presentations, networking events, FAM trips and other sales initiatives to achieve annual targets.
  • Create and execute Account Development Plans in alignment with the Director of Sales and overall sales strategy.
  • Support wider sales team activities including show rounds, presentations, reports, networking events and special projects.
