Job Summary: You will lead and supervise the daily shift on Reception, ensuring Receptionists carry out all duties to the required standard and that all guests are attended to with the utmost courtesy. You will be assisting the Reception Management in the implementation of new procedures, co-ordination of training and development.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Make all staff on duty aware of the daily availability and handovers.
  • Ensure that all guests are met at Reception with courtesy and that any complaints are dealt with promptly and efficiently with guidance from the Reception Management.
  • Ensure the hotel’s procedure is adhered to at all times.
  • Ability to work without supervision.
  • Coordinate VIPs and groups arrival.
  • Undertake Duty Management shifts.
  • Manage development needs within the team.
  • Communication with other departments to ensure correct procedures are followed.
