Groups & Events Sales Executive Mission: Manage group price requests for accounts assigned to the M&E, BT and Travel Agent sales network and from centralised MICE channels (meliapro.com and CVent), responding to each request within the time limits defined by M&E to generate group business for company hotels.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Ensure appropriate follow-up for all budgeted leads with both the hotel and the client to convert as many groups as possible.
  • Provide hotel information such as technical sheets, brochures, promotional packages, etc. to clients and accompany them on hotel site inspections.
  • Receive and attend to all group requests that come from Account Managers and centralized channels, responding to them as required by standards and within the time period defined.
  • Implement the price quotation process applying the standards and tools for each group or event request based on the customer profile, their needs and their language. Monitor price quotes based on whether they are sent direct to the customer or through the Account Manager.
  • Encourage site inspection for potential groups to increase the chances of conversion. Coordinate site inspections with hotels and clients and follow up with hotels on the results of the visit.
  • Give visibility to sustainable attributes in the customer relationship (under the instructions of the marketing & branding department).

What we are looking for?

  • Degree in Tourism, Hospitality or similar.
  • Fluent in English. Additional Spanish and Italian would be preferable.
  • Excellent personal presentation.
  • Great ability to communicate and negotiate.
  • Knowledge of PMS Opera Cloud and Focus tools.
  • Availability to travel.
