We’re seeking an exceptional Reservations Manager to join our Commercial team and elevate the guest journey across our Scottish properties.

Your Role at a Glance: As the Reservations Manager for Scotland, you will oversee the reservations operation across Meldrum House, Pine Trees, and East Haugh House. You will lead the seamless management of booking enquiries from initial contact through to arrival, ensuring exceptional service, maximised occupancy, and strong revenue performance. Working closely with our Sales Director, Revenue Coordinator, and hotel teams, you will drive efficiency, optimise distribution channels, and champion a luxury guest experience at every stage. This is a full-time, permanent role, based at our Meldrum House Hotel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily reservations operations across all Scottish properties, ensuring all enquiries are handled promptly, accurately, and with personalised luxury service.
  • Drive revenue performance by implementing pricing, inventory, and distribution strategies in partnership with the Revenue Management Consultant and Sales Director.
  • Maximise conversion, RevPAR, and upselling opportunities across rooms, dining, and spa.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the reservations team, including recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of PMS, CRS, and distribution systems (e.g., OTAs, GDS), ensuring data accuracy and strong rate integrity.
  • Manage group bookings, special requests, and guest communications while collaborating closely with Front Office, Sales, Marketing, and Operations.
  • Provide detailed information on rooms, amenities, rates, and packages, using effective sales techniques to enhance the guest experience.
  • Analyse booking trends and market conditions, producing insightful performance reports to support commercial decision-making.
  • Conduct regular audits and uphold luxury brand standards across all reservation processes and guest interactions.
  • Resolve booking issues or discrepancies professionally, escalating complex matters where necessary and ensuring secure and accurate payment processing.
