The role

Meldrum House is no ordinary place. Your role as Hotel Receptionist is to provide a warm, friendly and efficient service to our guests. Always ensuring the greatest service standards are delivered at all times and exceed our guests' expectations. As the first and often the last point of contact for guests, you will be integral in the guests journey with us.

Joining the dedicated Reception department, you will:

  • Greet our guests with a friendly hello and a warm welcome.
  • Ensure that the guest check in/out procedure is seamless.
  • Provide accurate information to guests regarding the local area as well as offering an excellent overall knowledge of all Hotel facilities and services.
  • Welcoming all guests attending events and dining facilities to the hotel and directing them to where they want to go.
  • Answer phone calls and email enquiries which can include bedroom and dining bookings.
  • Providing timely and concise information to other departments when required in relation to hotel operations.
  • Create brilliant customer service and a fun environment to promote guest loyalty
  • Embrace every opportunity to create extra special moments for our guests to provide a personal experience.

About you

As a Hotel Receptionist, you will have excellent organisational skills and attention to detail in order to provide consistent standards. This is a vital role in the function of the hotel and ultimately the service provided to our guests before, during and after their stay. You will love chatting to our guests offering help and assistance, you will be great at multi-tasking, you will be efficient at solving all guest enquiries and all with a smile and infectious personality! You will also:
