The role: As a Commis Chef, you will be responsible for delivering a high level of food to all our guests. Whether working in our newly refurbished and extended state of the art main kitchen or spacious banqueting kitchen, you will be responsible for:
- Preparation of lunch and dinner to Company standards, always ensuring guest satisfaction
- Assisting with the preparation of mis-en-place, cooking and the service of food to the required standards
- Ensuring equipment and workspaces are kept clean and tidy and in line with food hygiene requirements
- Being responsible for the cleanliness of the section and all associated areas, relating to both storage and preparation, ensuring health and hygiene regulations are followed at all times in line with departmental cleaning schedules
- Gaining extensive knowledge of our menus and food offerings
- Adhering to all food safety and health and safety guidelines
About you: As a Commis Chef, you will work alongside an award-winning Executive Chef and brigade and be part of a growing team who pride themselves in delivering a first-class product every time. We ask that you take pride in your work and have a willingness to learn. You will have a real passion for food, and excellent attention to detail to provide consistent standards. You will also:
- Demonstrate previous experience in a kitchen, hotel or restaurant environment
