I am working with an integrated, creative communications agency , who are looking for a dynamic Account Manager to join their team. They builds brands at the intersection of sports, fashion and lifestyle , and work with clients such as New Balance, Hunter, Speedo, and Sweaty Betty. The successful candidate will have proven experience in managing pillar accounts and integrated campaigns . Ideally, you will have high level skills in management and accountability , with the ability to provide strategic counsel to the agency and clients – together with excellent experience, knowledge and a personal interest in lifestyle and sportwear markets.

Responsibilities:

Account & Campaign Management

  • Manage multiple client accounts, drive growth, and upsell services.
  • Lead and deliver campaigns, activations, press outreach, and product seeding.
  • Oversee team performance, ensuring objectives and KPIs are met.
  • Build strong client and agency relationships with expert counsel.
  • Motivate and develop junior team members, boosting morale and excellence.
  • Provide proactive updates and manage senior relationships effectively.
  • Establish new success metrics and continuously push creative boundaries.
  • Collaborate across teams for integrated, impactful campaigns.

Finance & Planning

  • Strong financial management skills for budgets of all sizes.
  • Ensure agency processes and profit targets are met.
  • Maintain accurate pricing and service levels.
  • Optimize processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Plan ahead with expert time management.
  • Negotiate scope of work (SOW) and KPIs.

Delivery

  • Create high-quality written materials, proposals, and pitches.
  • Leverage a strong industry network (press, talent, influencers, brands).
  • Execute integrated campaigns across PR, social, influencer, and experiential.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and competitor insights.
  • Provide crisis management and strategic counsel.

Growth & New Business

  • Contribute to new business pitches and agency marketing initiatives.
  • Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Support efforts to enhance agency reputation and visibility.

Requirements:

Professional

  • 3+ years of agency experience managing lifestyle clients.
  • Skilled in handling multiple key accounts.
  • Strong grasp of brand strategy, positioning, and industry trends.
  • Confident in creating and delivering engaging presentations.
  • Deep knowledge of relevant sectors with the ability to speak convincingly about them.
