Melbreck Technical are working with a leading designer and manufacturer of specialist equipment, based in North Devon in Ilfracombe. If you are an ambitious quality professional, looking to make the step up into a quality manager role in two years, and someone who thrives in a quality-driven environment then this is a perfect opportunity for you.

As a Quality Engineer, you will identify and resolve quality issues, lead continuous improvement initiatives within cross-functional teams, and act with a high degree of autonomy as a driver of positive change across the business.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of IATF 16949 / ISO 9001
  • Maintain the QMS
  • PPAP Submission Management
  • Ensure that project and/or process control documentation is compliant
  • Lead programmes to assess quality performance
  • Development of a “right first time” culture.
Skills and Experience Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Quality Engineer
  • Strong analytical capabilities
  • Strong working knowledge and experience of using problem solving techniques
  • Internal Auditor Qualified
  • If you have a Six Sigma Qualification this would be a distinct advantage.
