Melbreck Technical is working with a renowned designer and manufacturer of mechanical equipment and devices that are used in a multitude of industries across the globe. Due to planned growth and succession, they are looking to add to their successful technical team and hire a Product Engineer ASAP. This is a significant opportunity to establish a career with a progressive business that prides itself on providing world-class engineering support and products to global giants in the aerospace, automotive, and medical sectors.

With manufacturing plants in Europe, North America, and China, the business believes in investment in production technology to maintain its position as a world leader in the supply of high-quality products.

Role Overview:

  • Design and develop products, including making improvements, modifications and extensions.
  • Guide and develop testing methods.
  • Create simulation models.
  • Actively support the quality department.
  • Take a leading role in projects to develop a Product Strategy and drive actions related to products.
  • Oversee the New Product Introduction processes and actively participate in project stage gates.
  • Actively work with sustainability and reduce environmental footprint and material declarations.
  • Ensure that any health and safety guidelines are followed.
  • Take responsibility for ensuring a good production process such as manufacturing, assembly, and product testing.

Job Holder Requirements:

  • Engineering degree or extensive experience in industry.
  • Simulation expertise.
  • Hydraulic expertise.
  • Production process expertise.
  • Possess a highly analytical mind.
