Are you ready to take your engineering career to new heights? We’re looking for a Project Engineer to join a leading name in the industry — someone who thrives on solving complex challenges, driving technical innovation, and seeing projects through from concept to completion.
You’ll work across multidisciplinary teams, managing the delivery of high-performance aerospace systems with precision, efficiency, and creativity.
Role Responsibilities:- Undertake design work in accordance with the parameters set out by the Lead Engineer. This will include analysis via hand or Finite Element Analysis (FEA), 2D drawing, 3D CAD, Solidworks, DDM, PDM and the production of reports/documentation.
- Conduct regular project and programme reviews, reporting to and updating key stakeholders and Customers.
- Participate in / supervise the manufacture of prototypes and trials in which the physical testing of the prototypes / samples is not uncommon.
- Maintain accurate, timely records of hours worked on each project.
- Participate in the initial design, estimating and review of assigned projects.
- Undertake design work in accordance with the parameters set out in the initial design review.
- Contribute to the production of KPI's and identification of Root Cause analysis.
- The role requires an educational standard to minimum HNC/HND and, preferably, to Degree level in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- A minimum of two years’ work experience gained in an engineering environment is essential. Experience of FEA and CAD is desirable.
- Computer literacy is a must.
- A valid driving licence and a willingness to travel in the UK and abroad are also required.
- Up to £50,000 salary – Depending on experience
- 37.5 hours per week
