Join a High-Performance Engineering Team. We're looking for an experienced Project Design Engineer to support the delivery of innovative and safety critical engineering projects within a fast-paced, technically challenging environment.
If you're an accomplished design engineer with strong CATIA V5 experience and a track record of delivering complex mechanical designs, we'd love to hear from you. Project Design Engineer – the role:
- Producing high-quality 3D models and detailed engineering drawings using CATIA V5.
- Leading design activities across the full product development lifecycle.
- Managing design packages and ensuring projects are delivered on time and to specification.
- Working closely with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, stress, quality, and programme management.
- Supporting design reviews, technical problem solving, and continuous product improvement.
- Ensuring compliance with customer, regulatory, and engineering standards.
Project Design Engineer – candidate requirements:
- Proven experience as a Project Design Engineer or Senior Design Engineer.
- Ideally experience in Aerospace, however automotive, marine and rail industry experience is also being considered.
- Experience delivering complex mechanical design projects.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, manufacturing processes, and design for manufacture.
