About the Practice
Melbourne Veterinary Centre is a small animal specialist centre with a passionate team of vets, nurses, PCAs and receptionists. The practice has modern facilities and state‑of‑the‑art equipment including a new laparoscopy kit, orthopaedic equipment, endoscopes, digital X‑rays, ultrasound machine with abdominal and cardiac probe, tonovet, endocrine and coag machine, and a wide range of in‑house diagnostics. The nursing team consists of 5 RVNs and a PCA. The rest of the team consists of 3 vets (including you), 3 receptionists and a practice manager.
About You

- Confident in your clinical skills, able to take the lead on surgical and medical cases, and carry out diagnostic investigations with precision.
- Keen to develop, committed to gaining further confidence in clinical skills to manage or lead on different case types.
- A natural mentor and team player, enjoys supporting and inspiring all colleagues to help them thrive.
- Client care comes naturally, knows how to create a positive, reassuring experience that builds trust and long‑lasting relationships.
- As an experienced vet (2–3 years' experience) bringing a strong level of clinical autonomy, comfortable handling a varied caseload, offering guidance to the wider team and contributing to shaping clinical standards.
