Year 5 Classroom Teacher Term 4

Role Description/Criteria

St Peter's Epping has a fixed term teaching position available, starting in Term 4, 2026. The duration of the contract is one term. The position is for a Year 5 class. The teacher will have classroom teaching responsibilities and will have opportunities for professional learning and personal goal setting.

Graduate and experienced teachers with a passion for learning, dedicated to building relationships and empowering learners to be their best, are encouraged to apply. The successful applicant will be working with a committed and friendly staff and leadership team within a strong and supportive school community. Graduate teachers will be supported by experienced leaders and a teacher mentor.

Responsibilities

• Support the Catholic ethos of the school and strengthen connections with the parish
• Work flexibly and collaboratively within staff Professional Learning teams
• Build and maintain positive relationships with students, colleagues and parents
• Demonstrate leadership in Education and Faith
• Provide engaging contemporary learning opportunities across the curriculum
• Exhibit excellent skills in integrating learning technologies across the curriculum
• Cater effectively for a diverse range of learning needs
• Gather, analyse and use student data to drive learning and teaching and inform best practice
• Demonstrate excellent organisational and communication skills

Requirements

• VIT Registered
• Accredited to teach Religious Education in Catholic schools or be willing to undertake such accreditation

Salary

Salary is in accordance with the Victorian Catholic Education Multi-Enterprise Agreement and available on website www.cecv.catholic.edu.au
