St. Scholastica's Catholic Primary School located in Burwood is seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic and friendly classroom teacher to join our school two days a week (Wed & either Mon, Thurs or Fri).
The successful applicant will be required to:
- support the Catholic ethos of the school
- display knowledge of the Victorian Curriculum
- use effective differentiated teaching using data in the key areas of English and Mathematics
- provide engaging contemporary learning opportunities across the curriculum
- build and maintain positive respectful relationships with students, colleagues and parents
- work flexibly and collaboratively within staff teams
- implement differentiated teaching strategies in response to assessed learning strengths and needs of the child
- have a knowledge and/or experience in explicit Instruction, vision of learning and vision of engagement
