Holy Eucharist Catholic Primary School is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced teacher to undertake the role of Literacy Intervention Teacher, commencing in Term 2, 2026. This is a fixed-term position, with the possibility of becoming ongoing. At Holy Eucharist Catholic Primary School, we are committed to ensuring that every student reaches their full potential. Key Selection Criteria

  • Be faith-filled, with a strong commitment to the Catholic ethos of the school and to the spiritual, emotional, social, and educational wellbeing of all students.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the capacity to build and maintain positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • Demonstrate supportive behaviour management practices.
  • Show a strong understanding and working knowledge of contemporary learning and how it positively impacts student outcomes.

Special Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years teaching experience.
  • Proven experience teaching students in Foundation to Year 2.
  • MiniLit Sage training (desirable).
  • Experience with UFLI or InitiaLit programs (desirable).
  • A strong commitment to child safety, including maintaining best practices and ongoing evaluation of these practices.
  • The provision of at least three referees, including the current principal.
  • Familiarity with ClassDojo or similar platforms to effectively communicate student progress with families (desirable).
