We are seeking a passionate and committed Year 1 classroom teacher to join our community in a maternity leave replacement position beginning in Term 2, 2026. This is a 12-month contract with the possibility of ongoing employment. A thorough handover will be provided by the current classroom teacher to ensure a smooth transition. At St Martin de Porres, you will be supported in your professional growth and play a meaningful role in helping students flourish academically, socially, emotionally and spiritually. - Demonstrate an understanding of the ethos of a Catholic school and its mission and actively participate in the life of the St Martin de Porres school community.
- Provide students with a child-safe environment that supports student well-being and fosters positive relationships.
- Engage with the MACS Vision for Instruction and Vision for Engagement, applying it meaningfully within our school context.
- Create a vibrant learning environment where all students are challenged, engaged, and motivated, with high expectations that support their academic, social, and emotional growth.
