Having a long and extensive sectoral history, we offer more affordable and innovative products every day with our team. It’s now time to develop our business across the UK, and we are looking for a Sales Representative to join us.
About the Role
The Sales Representative will play a crucial role in developing and supporting farmer suppliers, negotiating purchase contracts, and selling animal feeds, pulps, wheat, and relevant farm products for factories/ organisations. This position is essential in building and growing the company\’s business relationships across the UK.
Responsibilities
- Selling animal feeds, wheat, and pulp products to both existing accounts and procuring new business.
- Reaching new customers/factories in the market
- Conducting efficient business development to gain new clients.
- Building new relationships and potential partnerships.
- Promoting campaigns actively in liaison with the retail departments of the organisations.
- Following up on business inquiries and providing outstanding customer service
- Negotiating contracts with farmers within the terms and price range.
- Planning and managing work time to maximise customer contact
- Responding and following up on sales inquiries appropriately
- Monitoring and reporting market activities accurately and timely
Requirements/Knowledge
- Hands-on experience (min 3 years) in an arable farming environment
- Having a strong Business Development Skills and a good network in the market
- Good Understanding of farming and the countryside in the UK
- Knowledge of pulps, animal feeds, and seed types.
- Demonstrates a high degree of commercial awareness
- Ability to engage and influence others
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to interact and build relationships effectively, both internally and externally
- Experienced with Microsoft Applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Good attention to details
