At MEL Environmental Solutions, we’re specialists in restoring properties after pollution incidents. We're looking for a General Builder to join our dynamic team and make a difference in the insurance and environmental restoration industry.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and coordinate teams on-site to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and to the highest standard.
- Bring your multi-skilled construction expertise to life – from bricklaying to underpinning, concreting, drainage, and more.
- Operate machinery like mini diggers and dumpers.
- Mix concrete, demolish, dig, and restore residential properties to their original condition.
- Get hands-on with tools, from demolition hammers to jigsaws (we’ve got the latest gear, and we prioritise your safety with PPE and HAVS controls).
- Travel to project sites.
- Work closely with our Project Managers.
Qualifications:
- A construction professional with multi-skilled experience, capable of taking charge and inspiring others.
- Strong organisational and planning skills to manage day-to-day site activities effectively.
- A clean driving license and a readiness to hit the road.
- Willingness to travel and work away as required, tackling challenges head-on.
- Must be based within Northern Ireland and available to travel.
