At MEL Environmental Solutions Ltd, we specialise in restoring properties after pollution incidents and providing pollution response services to the Insurance Industry. We are currently seeking two Semi-Skilled Groundworker/Labourer to join our team in Sauchie. This role involves working on residential oil spill projects, ensuring environmental restoration and safety.
What You’ll Do:
- Carry out site works following safety protocols, including the Construction Phase Plan and Health & Safety Policy.
- Assist Senior Technician/General Builder with various tasks.
- Support ISO9001 Quality Management System and ISO45001 Occupational Health & Safety Management System processes.
- Perform additional tasks as advised by Top Management.
Qualifications What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in a multi-skilled construction role, including hand digging, groundwork, laying drainage, concreting, etc.
- Ability to operate a mini digger/dumper (preferred but not essential).
- CSCS certification (essential).
- Full UK driving licence (essential).
- Willingness to travel and work away from home during the week if required.
- Must have the right to work in the UK.
- Successful candidates will be subject to a DBS check and pre-employment Drugs and Alcohol Screening.
