We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Room Leader to manage a busy early years room. You will lead a small team, ensuring high standards of care, learning and development in accordance with the Early Years Framework.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and support a team of practitioners
- Plan and present age-appropriate activities
- Monitor children's progress and keep records
- Ensure that safeguarding, health and safety are maintained
- Build positive relationships with parents and carers
Requirements:
- Level 3 qualification (or above) in Early Years
- Experience in an early years setting
- Good knowledge of the Curriculum for Wales
This role is subject to an extended DBS check and satisfactory references.
Contract Options:
- School term time only (38–39 weeks) or Full year (52 weeks)
Job details:
- Salary: Full Year (52 weeks): £25,012 per year / School term only (38–39 weeks): £18,278 – £18,759 per annum (usually paid monthly over 12 months)
- Hours: 37 hours per week
- Holiday: 25 days + bank holidays
Qualification:
