Eligibility

Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Job Description

  • This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.
  • Looking after garden of remembrance in fair-green
  • Looking after flower beds at limestone boulders at the Kilkenny road, the aldi entrance and Clonmel road Abbey meadows
  • General maintenance at newly planted border
  • Care of trees planted by Callan tidy towns
  • Litter picking at various sites in Callan
  • Litter picking on the N76 footpath side
  • Clean the N76 opening stone if necessary
  • Refilling 5 doggy bag containers: 4 on the N76 bypass and 1 in the Moate field
